We are a boutique commercial Real Estate Agency founded in 2013. We have assembled a dynamic and experienced team here at Safcom with a dedicated focus toward certain targeted office and industrial nodes within the Cape Town region. With this approach, our philosophy is to ensure that we position Safcom Properties and our brokers as the prominent go-to area specialists for these select areas in which we operate.
OUR STORY
The journey began at the start of 2013, borne out of a collaboration between founding members, Fabio Gallotta and Michael Wylie, who are the current co-principal property practitioners of Safcom Properties. The pair had earlier graduated together obtaining their honours degree in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town (2010).
Following their graduation their paths diverged with Fabio gaining experience in a position as a commercial property broker in leasing and sales while Michael started a role with an asset management position within a private property fund.
After a few years (2012), Fabio and Michael’s paths came together once more and following a period of planning and strategizing, Safcom Properties came to be. With the combined property experiences gained, they set about building a vast property network and database, laying the firm foundation that our current brokering team continues to build upon each day.
At the core during these formative years, Safcom also took on the leasing and facilities management function for a private property fund,
City Capital South Africa Property Holdings (CCSAPH), managing numerous multi-tenanted commercial buildings. This is a role that continues to this day and has come to define Safcom as a respected Landlord representative and role player within the industry.
Another key addition to the senior brokering team came in 2017 when Safcom was joined by Simon Solomon, a University of Cape Town graduate with a degree in Finance and Accounting. Simon demonstrates his valuable investment industry insight and experience which together with his highly driven approach to be the best, translates to being a proven, successful leading figure among his industry peers.
A year later (2018), Safcom welcomed another top member of its brokering team, Frederick Kotze. Frederick has a National Town Planning Diploma from The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) with prior work experience in this field and leverages this qualification and knowledge to achieve success as commercial real estate as a broker.
Consolidating each of these strengths and the wealth of knowledge gained along this journey, Safcom Properties had become synonymous with the people and properties in the areas we operate.
Today, with a proud record of more than 10 dedicated years in operation, the Safcom Properties team as a collective are committed as we build to the future. We remain ignited by our passion in actively pursuing service excellence and upholding the values and the integrity within our Real Estate profession.
